The Royal Melbourne Hospital is operating one of Victoria’s high-volume COVID-19 Vaccination Centres, located at the Melbourne Exhibition and Conference Centre.
This centre is currently vaccinating all eligible people in Phase 1a and 1b populations as part of the Australian Government vaccine program.
This includes essential public sector workers in health, emergency services and transport, other critical workforces, adults aged 70 years and over, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults aged 55 years and over. To check if you’re eligible, use the vaccine eligibility checker below.

Appointments are strongly encouraged to help manage demand.

The centre is open 7 days a week, 8.15am to 4pm. Walk in appointments available from 9am –4pm.
Vaccine eligibility checker
COVID-19 vaccines are being made available to people in phases as part of the Australian Government vaccine program. You can find out which phase you are in using the Australian Government Department of Health eligibility checker.
The eligibility checker will tell you if you are eligible now and connect you to a vaccine provider. If you aren’t eligible yet you can register to receive an email or SMS notification when you are able to get vaccinated.
For more information on getting the vaccine in Victoria, including how to access the high-volume vaccination centres, visit the Victorian Government's COVID-19 vaccines website.
If you have questions, please call the National coronavirus and COVID-19 helpline on 1800 020 080 or speak to your GP.
It is recommended that people wait at least 14 days between a dose of seasonal flu vaccine and a dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
