Royal Melbourne Hospital Private Imaging is a fully digital department with Computed Radiography and PACS.
The RMH has one of the busiest interventional and neurointerventional services in Victoria.
We offer a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures including vascular, hepatobiliary, urological and oncological interventions, using angiographic, ultrasound, and CT guided techniques. The neurointerventional service is a unique service with three full time neurointerventionalists providing a full time service. We have two state of the art biplane flat panel angiography units enabling us to provide this comprehensive service.
We specialise in diagnosis and treatment of:
- Complex vascular abnormalities, such as aneurysms and vascular malformations of brain and spine
- Acute stroke intervention utilising arterial thrombolysis
- Clot retrieval
- Embolisations for tumours
- intra and extracranial angioplasty and stenting
Trauma interventions are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
