Mrs Page served as a member of the Board of Management from 1959 until her retirement in 1986. She was a valued contributor to various hospital Committees, including the Buildings and Capital Works Advisory, Inspection and Patient Welfare, Nursing Advisory, Public Relations Advisory and Historical Archives Committees, as well as working to support the hospital Auxiliaries.

However, her interest in the affairs of the hospital extended beyond her membership of the Board and she continued her role on the Historical Archives Committee until 1999.

Former Nursing Educator and Chair of the Ethics Committee, Susan Sherson has paid tribute: “Marion had been a huge and longtime supporter of RMH and was on the Board of Management for many years. She was an amazing lady, highly intelligent with a great sense of humour, and did so much for a whole variety of causes including the Red Cross”.

The hospital acknowledges and appreciates her contribution.
