RMH’s City Campus foyer redevelopment is underway.

The new foyer has been designed in collaboration with the Melbourne Health Community Advisory Group and project managed by the Melbourne Health Capital Works Department.

Melbourne Health’s Executive Director Nursing Denise Heinjus, said the main foyer redesign will transform the community’s experience when coming to the hospital.

“We wanted to create a space at the RMH City Campus that was welcoming and calm for our patients and visitors,” Denise said.

“We also wanted to improve the wayfinding experience for our community, making it easier for them to find the reception desk and the volunteers.”

The RMH City Campus main foyer was redesigned by architectural firm Clarke Hopkins Clarke.

Works are expected to be completed by mid-August. Temporary Directional wayfinding signage are located on the hoardings around the works and access to the retail precinct won’t be restricted.

If you are having trouble finding your way around the hospital while works are in progress, please do not hesitate to contact the volunteers, located at their temporary desk directly in front of the main hospital entrance.
