At The Royal Melbourne Hospital, we welcome feedback as it helps us improve our services

Patients at The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) now have an additional avenue to provide feedback about their experience, through Patient Opinion Australia - a public, moderated and timely online platform for patient feedback.

“At The Royal Melbourne Hospital, feedback is important to us as it helps us to improve our services and make RMH a great place to receive care,” Professor George Braitberg, Executive Director of Strategy, Quality and Improvement said.

“The online Patient Opinion platform allows patients to provide anonymous and honest feedback about their experience and engage in an open and transparent way with us. This will help us to better understand the patient experience, provide detailed feedback to our staff and channel patient feedback through an appropriate path.”

Patients can go online to Patient Opinion Australia and share their experience at the RMH, whether it’s a concern, a compliment or a complaint. Their feedback will be shared with the appropriate staff and RMH will respond via Patient Opinion and share publicly when a change has been made as a result of the feedback.

“Patient Opinion is just one of the many ways our patients can provide feedback at RMH. No matter what the feedback is, or how it is provided, we are listening," said Professor Braitberg.
