When Jo from Warrandyte bought a ticket in the RMH Home Lottery, she “bought the winning ticket thinking it doesn’t matter if I don’t win as the money will go to something I care about - the RMH.”
Imagine her surprise when she was told that she had won the $2.8 million dollar home in Glen Iris. Jo is a married mother of six, her eldest child is 22 and her youngest twins are two years old.
She is absolutely delighted in the change in circumstances for her family, especially all the storage and the downstairs bedroom for the grandparents when they came to stay. Jo said happily “there’s room for everyone!”
On touring the house, Jo’s twin boys were overcome with everything that the house had to offer and just kept saying “Wow”, particularly in the playroom which seemed to have been designed especially for them.
Melbourne Health Chief Executive, Adam Horsburgh, thanked the Victorian community for their support of the RMH Home Lottery.
"Funds raised from the RMH Home Lottery helps the hospital support vital care, research and education for our patients and staff," Mr Horsburgh said.
