Kingsley’s journey at the RMH started when he was rushed to our Emergency Department, where he was diagnosed with Guillian Barre Syndrome (GBS).

Within days, Kingsley's condition deteriorated, where he was struggling to breathe and lost his ability to walk and swallow.

Kingsley was transferred to our ICU where he was put on a ventilator. He spent 66 days in ICU, and then was transferred back to our neurology ward where he began rehabilitation.

Nearly eight months later, Kingsley has made a full recovery. And today, he surprised his care team on the ICU.
