The recall is being undertaken as a precautionary measure due to the potential that these devices may contain a defective part that may result in the device failing to activate or the device requiring increased force to activate. If the EpiPen 300mcg Adrenaline injection fails to activate it may result in life threatening adverse events as the underlying anaphylaxis will not be treated.

At this time, all other batches of EpiPen 300 mcg Adrenaline Injection syringe Auto-Injectors are unaffected and are not subject to this recall.

Please check the batch numbers of any EpiPen 300 mcg Injection Syringe Adrenaline Auto-Injectors you hold and return any devices with any of the above listed batch numbers and expiry date to your pharmacy.

ALL AFFECTED DEVICES WILL BE REPLACED FREE OF CHARGE
