For your safety, we need a detailed knowledge of all the medicines you are taking (including those purchased from health food shops, supermarkets or over the counter in pharmacies).

Some of these products don't work well with prescription medicines. For example, some herbal products can increase bleeding; some eye drops may affect your heart or breathing. Please do not take any of your own medicines without consulting your doctor first.

Let us know if you have had an allergic reaction or side effect to any medicines in the past.

Our Pharmacy dispenses medicines for you while you are in hospital and when you leave. Pharmacy staff visit the wards and can answer any questions you have, such as the possible side effects of any new medicine and what to do when you go home.
