Results

If your test is negative, you will receive an SMS text message. If your result is positive, you will receive a telephone call. For more information about testing and results please visit the Department of Health and Human Services' website.

Who will be screened?

We will only test people who have one or more of these symptoms:

  • Fever
  • Chills or sweats
  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Shortness of breath
  • Runny nose
  • Loss of sense of smell

In certain circumstances headache, muscle soreness, stuffy nose, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea may also be considered.

The clinic is unable to test children under the age of 5. Please visit the Department of Health and Human Services website for suitable testing sites. Note: Healthcare workers and emergency workers remain a high priority for testing.All patients will be monitored in hospital if clinical deterioration occurs while at the screening clinic.
