Jenny Beavis

CKD Nurse Practitioner

Jenny brings a wealth of experience and expertise to help deliver quality care to patients with Chronic Kidney Disease.

The role of the CKD Nurse Practitioner works autonomously and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary health care team to provide comprehensive, appropriate and timely care to patients with CKD across the continuum.

Patients are provided with information to enable informed treatment choices and make a transition to their preferred treatment type. Jenny provides a weekly supportive care clinic to assist with symptom management of those people with end stage kidney disease either choosing not to have dialysis or withdrawing from dialysis.

Elaine Sanders

Regional Dialysis Nurse Practitioner

RN, Master Advanced Nursing Practice (Nurse Practitioner)

Elaine Sanders is the Regional Dialysis Nurse Practitioner at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and her role provides clinical care and expertise for patients dialysing at our affiliated satellite units across Victoria and southern New South Wales.

She brings a wealth of experience and expertise to help deliver quality care to patients more locally, in our affiliated regional satellite units and through our outreach clinics.

Elaine qualified as a Registered Nurse in Scotland in 1990. She has a long and distinguished career in renal nursing that includes ten years working in England with a variety roles in both the public and private sector.

She moved to Australia in 2007 to take up a position as a renal nurse at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. From 2008 to 2018 she was the Regional Dialysis Clinical Nurse Consultant and in 2019 was endorsed as a Nurse Practitioner.

Narissa Andrew

Renal Transplant Nurse Practitioner

RN BN PGDACN-Renal MANP-Nurse Practitioner

Narissa has been endorsed as our transplant nurse practitioner in a role to bring improvements in care to our post-transplant patients. Concentrating on new transplant patients initially in the early phase post-transplant, Narissa brings her years of renal experience to insuring our patients receive optimal care. Narissa has been pivotal in developing our telehealth strategy and an important driver in setting up our telehealth service which particularly focuses on regional and rural patients.

Jo-Anne Moodie

Home Dialysis and Essendon Fields Nurse Practitioner

Jo has been in dialysis and home dialysis for a number of years and used to be our NUM for home therapies. Having completed her Masters she is now our NP in home dialysis and to our metro-satellite dialysis settings.

Jade Ryan

Dialysis Coordinator NPC

Jade is responsible for education and consent of new dialysis patients starting dialysis at RMH and ensuring a smooth transition to dialysis for those who are transitioning from chronic kidney disease to dialysis.

Jayne Amy

Nephrology Surgery NPC

Jayne is responsible for surgical coordination and follow up of vascular access and other renal operation for dialysis patients.
