Allied Health Scholarships

At The RMH we’re inspired by our vision of Advancing health for everyone, every day.

In support of our vision, RMH has introduced these scholarships which are financially supported by philanthropic funds provided through the RMH Foundation.

These Scholarships aim to:

• support the attraction and retention of the Allied Health workforce.
• invest in the highest quality Allied Health researchers and projects.
• foster health research for the benefit of our community.

The research should aim to enhance the body of Allied Health knowledge at RMH and impact patient care outcomes.

RMH Allied Health PhD Scholarship Award

Allied Health research is part of patient care and provides an opportunity for our patients to access new interventions, medical devices, health service changes, innovative models of care, preventative care strategies and more. The PhD Scholarship aims to build on our research capacity for RMH Allied Health staff.

Value of the AH PhD Scholarship

This Scholarship is valued at $30,000 ($10,000 per annum over 3 years). The Scholarship provides a monthly stipend to assist with living costs whilst the PhD candidate undertakes their study part-time.

RMH Allied Health Single Subject Scholarship (Master)

The RMH Allied Health Single Subject Scholarship assists allied health staff who are enrolled in an appropriate Master's degree. For the purposes of the application, the student nominates one of their master's subjects to be funded by the Single Subject Scholarship.

For the duration of the scheme (2023 - 2026) multiple Single Subject Scholarships will be offered each year.

Value of the AH Single Subject Scholarship

Each RMH Allied Health Single Subject Scholarship is valued at up to $6,000. The Scholarship is intended to reimburse the student for the cost of the subject fee.
