The winners of the Royal Melbourne Hospital's Celebrating Excellence Awards 2023 were announced at a special awards ceremony on Friday.
This included the recipient of The Melbourne Award, the organisation’s highest individual honour. The Melbourne Award for 2023 was presented to Facilities Management Director Michael McCambridge, recognising his extensive contribution to the RMH over many years and how he has embodied our values of People First, Lead with Kindness, and Excellence Together.
The inaugural Next Generation Award was presented to physiotherapist Sarah Large, recognising both her clinical work and her contributions to implementing cultural safety improvements for First Nations people.
