Ongoing care for adults with inborn errors of metabolism.

Inborn errors of metabolism are group of genetic disorders involving the failure of the metabolic pathways responsible for the break-down, storage and transport of carbohydrates, fatty acids, proteins, vitamins, and minerals. Although each inborn error of metabolism is very rare, there are over 1000 adults in Victoria and Tasmania with these conditions.

We provide ongoing care for adult patients with confirmed and suspected inborn errors of metabolism.
