Our Anaesthesia and Pain Management department runs courses throughout the year for clinicians to upskill in airway and bronchoscopic training, and advanced life support training.

The Royal Melbourne Hospital Intensive Care Unit runs a range of professional development courses for clinicians of different experience levels throughout the year.

The International Hokkaido Trauma Conference is a series of lectures, workshops and panel discussions to update clinicians on the current and changing practice of trauma medicine.

The Clinical Simulation Centre is an education and training facility at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. We host simulation-based programs that allow clinicians to develop skills and learn procedures in a risk-free environment.

Our Mental Health Learning and Development Program enhances the skills, knowledge and capabilities of our people so they can deliver high-quality care and support to individuals experiencing mental health issues, as well as to their families, carers, supporters and kin.

NeuronCare is a professional development and training program for early career physiotherapists that combines virtual and face-to-face training. The course runs over 5 weeks from 3 June 2026.

SpineCare is a professional development course and training program for clinicians who treat people with back and neck pain.
