For GPs and specialists

Our GP Liaison team helps GPs and other health professionals to navigate and refer patients to services at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH). We work to improve communication between the hospital and primary care.

The Royal Melbourne Hospital may occasionally share relevant information with other entities such as law enforcement, family violence services or child protection professionals.

The RMH Pathology Handbook is a reference guide to help clinicians select tests and collect the correct specimen.

As one of Victoria's two adult Major Trauma Centres, the RMH has one of the biggest major trauma loads in Australia and has been integral to the emergency response for several major incidents.
