Adam trained in Intensive Care Medicine and Internal Medicine in Melbourne, Adelaide and Oxford (UK). He is an intensivist who is internationally recognised as a leading critical care researcher.
Adam is the Deputy Director and Head of Research, Intensive Care Unit, The RMH. He is also the Principal Research Fellow, Department of Critical Care, The University of Melbourne.
He also holds a part-time Clinician Fellowship with the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) and honorary positions as an Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne and University of Adelaide.
