Dr Katherine English

Deputy Director of Cardiology, Head of Adult Congenital Cardiology

A/Prof Kate English is Head of the Adult Congenital Service at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne.

Kate was born and educated in the UK and spent 20 years as a consultant in the NHS before re-locating to Australia with her family in 2024.

She has special interests in complex cardiac physiology in congenital heart disease, obstetric cardiology, transition from paediatric cardiology to adult services and assessment and monitoring of healthcare outcomes.
