A BOA Soli Lam Award winner, Mr Irwin undertook travelling fellowships across Birmingham, Oxford, and Copenhagen, and holds a specialist interest in spinal tumours at one of England's five designated sarcoma centres.
He practises the full spectrum of adult spinal surgery including minimally invasive techniques.
