A specialist in trauma surgery and limb reconstruction at Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary, Mr Chambers trained internationally including a fellowship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in complex trauma and limb reconstruction.
He won the BOA Soli Lam Award and Best International Paper at AOFAS 2015.
