6-9 ml EDTA (DO NOT send to lab on ICE if renin is requested)

Immunoassay: Upright < 978 pmol/L, Supine < 654 pmol/L. LCMS: ambulatory 30-800pmol/L, supine 0-400 pmol/L

If being ordered as part of Adrenal Vein Sampling protocol - please collect serum no gel (Red) tubes.

If renin is requested, samples must not be placed on ice - transport to the lab asap at room temp. To be separated in Lab and plasma frozen ASAP.
