Label glass slides in lead pencil with the patients name, UR No. and specimen type. Brush sample onto slide, air-dry rapidly or fix immediately in 95% alcohol, rinse remaining brush sample in saline. Coplin jars of 95% alcohol are available, contact 03 9342 7853.
