Notes

1mL plasma is required. Sample should be immediately separated into 2 x >0.5mL aliquots and then frozen for storage and transport. Label aliquots 'EDTA plasma with Leupeptin plus Aprotinin for PTHRP' and freeze ASAP. PTH and ionised calcium must be collected at the same time as the PTHrP sample. PTH and ionised calcium results must be supplied to Sullivan Nicolaides with the request.
