Urine Cytology

Fresh - Keep sample refrigerated.

Please indicate whether the urine is voided, catheter, or ileal conduit. Include collection date on specimen container.

For Eosinophils assessment - See notes.

For Serial urine - See notes.

For serial urine colletions, 3 fully voided urines are collected on 3 consecutive days separately.

For Cytological analysis it is recommended 30 -50ml is collected, clean catch and should not be first void urine.

For Eosinophil qualitative assessment, specify on request.
