The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) has been at the forefront of Victoria’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic since early 2020.

Teams from across the health service have been working tirelessly to adapt and deliver the safest care possible to all patients and consumers.

Since the start of the year (2021), the RMH ICU team has cared for over 200 COVID-19 patients. That’s compared to 51 COVID-19 ICU patients in 2020.

While it is amazing to see Victorians out enjoying freedoms again it’s important to highlight that COVID-19 remains in the community.
