The Royal Melbourne Hospital’s (RMH) Scrub Choir is back and proud to introduce Scrub Sessions!

The 8-episode series features 20-minute virtual in-depth interviews and unplugged music jams hosted by Head of Music Therapy at the RMH, Dr Emma O’Brien OAM.

“These unique interviews will broaden our message of kindness to the community,” says Dr O’Brien. “Scrub Sessions are here to support our staff, patients and community through these difficult times.”

“What better way to lift each other’s mood than through music,” she added.

Every 2 weeks Dr O’Brien will be joined by musicians from all over the world discussing inspiration, wellbeing, and of course, music.

Episode one of Scrub Sessions dropped today and feature’s 80s popstar, Sadako Pointer from The Pointer Sisters. Take a listen below:

Sadako discusses with Dr Emma her own personal journey in the music industry, health and family values followed by an exclusive acoustic performance of her new single, ‘Happiness’.
