We are so proud to be the Premier’s Large Health Service of the Year for 2022 at the Victorian Public Health Awards!

It was one of the awards the RMH won in, along with the Excellence in culturally diverse health award for the RMH COVID-19 messages in-language campaign.

The following RMH teams were also nominated:

  1. The RMH Family Safety Team for the Whole of hospital model for responding to family violence award
  2. The RMH Scrub Choir for the Improving workforce wellbeing and safety award
  3. The Cardiac remote device interrogation kiosk project team for the Improving integration of care for patients with chronic and complex conditions award
  4. and The RMH First Nations Dermatology Clinic team for the Improving Aboriginal health award, which received a Highly Commended award.

We also want to acknowledge our fellow health services and colleagues for their great work too.

It’s been one of the most challenging periods in our 174-year history, and we’d like to thank all our RMH staff, volunteers, patients, consumers and community for all your support.
