The RMH’s Prof Ben Cowie considered for appointment to WHO’s GVAC

Congratulations to RMH infectious diseases physician and medical epidemiologist at The Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity, Professor Ben Cowie, who is being considered for the appointment to the World Health Organisation's (WHO) new Global Validation Advisory Committee (GVAC) on the validation of mother-to-child transmission of HIV, syphilis and hepatitis B virus.

Appointments are released ahead of time as part of the WHO's work to strengthen public trust.
