Dr Ahmed Al-Kaisey is a consultant cardiologist and electrophysiologist.
Ahmed completed his cardiology training at Austin Health before undertaking a cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital followed by a 12 months clinical fellowship at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London.
Ahmed completed a PhD through the University of Melbourne focused on understanding the mechanisms of atrial fibrillation. He was supported by the prestigious National Heart Foundation/National Health and Medical Research Council Scholarships.
Ahmed has authored over 40 peer reviewed papers in high impact journals and won several awards at local and international conferences.
