Associate Professor Jeff Presneill trained in intensive care and respiratory medicine and then completed a doctoral thesis on aspects of the human immune response in septic shock.
He also trained in biostatistics to the level of Graduate Statistician (GStat, Statistical Society of Australia).
Jeff is involved in several clinical trials through the Department of Critical Care, University of Melbourne and the Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Research Centre (ANZIC-RC) at Monash University.
