Associate Professor Laura Scardamaglia is a Consultant Dermatologist and Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne.

She is the Head of Clinical Services for Dermatology at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH), where she leads specialised multidisciplinary services including the Victorian Immunobullous Service, the Adult Vascular Anomalies Clinic, the autoimmune, urticaria, mastocytosis and complex medical dermatology clinics. She is also part of the eczema, porphyria, dermatology genetics, HHT and psoriasis clinics.

A/Prof Scardamaglia completed her dermatology training in Melbourne and undertook further subspecialty training internationally in the United States and United Kingdom. Her clinical interests include autoimmune blistering diseases, vascular anomalies, connective tissue diseases, oral mucosal disorders, and complex medical dermatology.

She is actively involved in multidisciplinary clinical care, research, and medical education, and is a Supervisor of Training and National Examiner for the Australasian College of Dermatologists. She has received multiple awards for clinical and academic contribution, including a Presidential Citation and Certificate of Meritorious Service from the Australasian College of Dermatologists.
