Ms Samantha Plumb

Chief Quality Officer I Quality, Informatics and Improvement — she/her

Samantha Plumb joined the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) Executive team in February 2022.

Sam is a physiotherapist by background. She began at the RMH in 2006 and progressed to become Manager of Physiotherapy in 2013.

Sam was Chief of Staff for a year in 2016, and worked in various project management roles broadening her operational leadership expertise. More recently Sam was the RMH Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Director, responsible for the EMR implementation at the RMH for the $140 million program.

After the successful implementation of the EMR in 2020 Sam moved into an operational role as General Manager of Surgical Services before starting with the Executive team.
