Dr Stacey Peters is the Head of RMH Cardiology Outpatients and Training and is the Clinical Lead for the Genetic Cardiomyopathy Program. She is an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne.
Stacey is a cardiologist specialising in genetic heart diseases and cardiomyopathies. She graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2009 and trained in Cardiology at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
She completed her PhD through the University of Melbourne and the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute, NSW. Her research evaluates the complex interplay of genotype and phenotype in genetic cardiomyopathies.
Stacey is actively involved in Cardiac Genetics in Australia and regularly speaks at education and research meetings.
She is on the executive committee for the CSANZ Cardiovascular Genetics Council.
