Dr William Wilson is a cardiologist specialising in interventional cardiology and adult congenital heart disease.
He graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1999 and completed his advanced cardiology training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH).
Will completed overseas fellowships at the Edinburgh Heart Centre and the Toronto Congenital Cardiac Centre for Adults with a focus on complex percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and structural heart disease interventions, including TAVI, percutaneous pulmonary valve implantation and complex interventions in adult congenital heart disease patients.
Will is the director of structural heart interventions and leads the congenital heart disease intervention service at the RMH.
He is actively involved in research and has completed a PhD through the University of Melbourne, focusing on congenital heart disease, in particular outcomes in patients with a systemic right ventricle and mechanisms for ventricular failure.
