The Fifteenth International Hokkaido Trauma Conference will be held from 14 to 19 January 2024 at the 4-star Rusutsu Resort Hotel on the Japanese island of Hokkaido.

Where

The Hokkaido Trauma Conference will be held at the world-acclaimed Rusutsu Ski Resort in Rusutsu, Japan.

The Rusutsu Ski Resort is a fully serviced resort with restaurants, shopping malls, entertainment complexes, swimming and wave pool, spas and a merry-go-round.

Cost

Conference fees are in Australian Dollars

  • AUD $2,250 Early Bird registration available before 30 September 2023
  • AUD $2,600 after 30 September 2023

Registrations are limited to 300 delegates. In previous years places have filled by late July/August. It is recommended that you register for the conference and book flights and accommodation early.

Due to limited availability of flights and accommodation, delegates must have confirmed and paid their registration for the conference before Ski Japan will confirm flight or accommodation packages.

Travel, transfers and accommodation

Hokkaido is the North Island of Japan – the Rusutsu Resort is situated 79km west of Sapporo (New Chitose Airport) close to Niseko and the extinct volcano of Mount Yotei.

Ski Japan have been the appointed the official agency for the conference.

Personal insurance and liability

Participants shall be regarded in every aspect as carrying their own risk for personal injury and loss or injury to property, including baggage, during the conference.

We strongly recommend that you take out a travel insurance policy at the time of booking your registration, travel and tours. The organisers will in no way be responsible for any claims concerning insurance.

The RMH reserves the right to cancel planned courses and symposia, even at short notice. In the event of cancellation by the RMH, all course fees will be refunded. This precludes any other claims.

In the event of war, strikes, riots and acts of God or conditions beyond the control of the RMH, the RMH accepts no responsibility for loss of moneys incurred by conference delegates.
