Cardiology is a medical specialty and a branch of internal medicine concerned with disorders of the heart.

Doctors who specialise in hearts are called cardiologists. Cardiologists diagnose and treat a wide range of heart disorders such as:

  • Heart arrhythmia
  • Adult congenital heart disease
  • Ischaemic heart disease
  • Heart failure
  • Valvular heart disease
