Cardiac tests and investigations
Cardiology Diagnostics is on level 2 East (2E) of the main building.
Tests and investigations include:
- echocardiogram
- stress test
- device check
Check in with reception when you arrive.

Cardiac procedures
Most cardiac procedures are performed in the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory (or 'cath lab'). These include:
- angiogram
- TAVI
- ablation
- cardiac device implantation
On the day of your procedure, please present to the cardiac day procedure ward reception desk at level 2 South East (2SE), main building.

Cardiology pre-admission clinic
You may be required to attend a pre-admission clinic (PAC) appointment before your procedure.
This is for us to:
- clarify the nature of the procedure
- stop or change medications ahead of the procedure as required
- discuss the procedure with you
