What we do

We provide care, develop management plans and educate patients with:

  • Diabetes-related foot problems
  • Wounds, including ulcers, needing wound dressings and consultations
  • Wounds that need offloading or padding to relieve pressure

The Podiatry service helps prevent foot and lower limb amputations by identifying patients at high risk, and implementing appropriate management plans.

Post amputation or injury, the Podiatry service enhances wound healing, facilitates appropriate discharge and prevents readmission.
