Limited parking is available in the RMH Parkville car park. The car park is open 7 days a week, 6am to 9pm. If you are a regular visitor, a reduced parking rate is available.
Key points
- The car park entrance is open 7 days a week, from 6am to 9pm
- If you need help, the car park office is staffed Monday to Friday, 7am to 8.30pm, except public holidays. An intercom button is available 24 hours a day at the entrance and exit
- Cars can leave the car park even if the car park is closed
- The maximum height for vehicles entering the car park is 2.1 metres
- Disabled parking and pickup/drop-off parking available on level 2
The car park fills quickly early in the day (before 9am), so consider visiting later in the day (if you can). You can also try using one of the other local car parks or public transport to come to the hospital:
The entrance to the car park is on Royal Parade. Look for the car parking sign. Due to the Metro Tunnel Works access to the car park is limited and must be accessed from Royal Parade.
Accessible parking on level 2
There are no lifts in the car park. If you are not able to use the stairs, try parking on level 2 of the car park, which goes directly through to the ground level entrance for the hospital.
If you need to drop off or pick up a patient, use the drop off point near the car park office on level 2. Access to this area is via the intercom located at the staff entry gate. Press the intercom button and ask to be let through.
