Work experience

Our formal work experience program is currently on hold. Work experience is instead decided by departments on a case-by-case basis. We encourage students interested in a work experience placement to approach their preferred areas of work directly.

Epilepsy Assessment Clinic RMH Service

We review patients for all aspects of epilepsy care, including epilepsy diagnosis and determination of epilepsy syndrome, anti-epileptic medication treatment and management of drug-resistant epilepsy.

First Seizure Clinic RMH Service

The clinic reviews patients referred for evaluation of a first seizure or a subsequent epileptic seizure in those without a previous diagnosis of epilepsy.

General Neurology and Rapid Access Clinic RMH Service

There are three general neurology clinics and one Neurology Rapid Access Clinic (NRAC) at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

Neuromuscular Clinic RMH Service

We provide care for patients with a broad range of neuromuscular conditions including genetic and acquired neuropathies, myopathies or muscular dystrophies, myaesthenic syndromes and motor neuron diseases.
