About Imaging

The RMH Imaging Service offers radiology, nuclear medicine and PET services.

Pathology RMH Service

We provide diagnostic, clinical, teaching and research services that focus on supporting both acute care and community health services.

The Transit Lounge

The Transit Lounge welcomes patients waiting for discharge from hospital, a day procedure or their specialist clinic appointment.

Geriatric Evaluation Management RMH Service

We provide inpatient assessment and treatment of complex medical conditions in older people.

Radiology RMH Service

We provide a full range of diagnostic and interventional services for inpatients, outpatients and emergency referrals, using state-of-the-art equipment.

Nurse to patient ratios

In 2015, Victoria became the first state in Australia to set minimum nurse to patient ratios in public hospitals via the Safe Patient Care Act (2015) which ensures patients are provided the best nursing care possible.  

BreastScreen RMH Service

We provide free mammographic screening to women aged 40 years and over without breast cancer symptoms or breast problems.

Mental Health RMH Service
