Toilets and bathroom facilities

Many of the toilets across the RMH Parkville are single room, all-gender toilets. These include some wheelchair accessible toilets, and facilities with baby change tables or sharps bins for those who need them.

Post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) to prevent HIV

Post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) is medication taken soon after HIV exposure to prevent infection. Eligible Victorians who have been exposed to HIV (either sexually or through needle-sharing) can visit the Royal Melbourne Hospital Emergency Department for advice about and access to PEP.

The TRANSCEND study – testing a new medicine for kidney transplant rejection Research study

This study is testing a new medication called felzartamab for people who have received a kidney transplant and developed a type of rejection called late antibody-mediated rejection (AMR).

This study aims to find out whether a medicine called Survodutide helps people with non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) or metabolic associated steatohepatitis (MASH) and cirrhosis to improve their liver function.

NeuronCare: An Acute Neurological Physiotherapy course

NeuronCare is a professional development and training program for early career physiotherapists that combines virtual and face-to-face training. The course runs over 5 weeks from 3 June 2026.
