Limited parking is available in the RMH City Campus car park. The car park is open 7 days a week, 6am to 9pm. If you are a regular visitor, a reduced parking rate is available.
The car park fills quickly early in the day, so consider visiting later in the day (if you can), using one of the other local car parks or using public transport to come to the hospital:
The entrance to the car park is on Royal Parade. Look for the Greenco Parking sign.
Metro Tunnel project
Construction of the Metro Tunnel may cause some delays for you coming to or leaving the hospital. From Thursday 22 February 2018, Grattan Street will be closed to traffic between Royal Parade and Leicester Street. Read more about the Parkville Station works. Please visit the Metro Tunnel website before you travel to get up to date information on road closures.
The car park is open everyday, 6am - 9pm.
If you need help, the car park office is staffed Monday - Friday, 7am - 8:30pm, except public holidays. An intercom button is available 24 hours a day at the entrance and exits to the car park.
Even if the car park is closed, cars can still leave the car park. The shutters will open once you've validated your ticket at the boom gates near the exit.
