At the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH), we are on a journey to enhance the experience of our LGBTIQ+ and questioning patients, consumers and visitors.

We are committed to being a great place to work and a great place to receive care in an inclusive, safe and welcoming environment. Our LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Action Plan outlines how we’ll do it.

The LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Action Plan 2022-25 reflects our commitment to drive continual improvement for our staff, patients and consumers. It contains 23 actions that address systems, practices, facilities and culture.

The central objective of this plan aligns with that of our broader diversity, equity and inclusion work: to be a great place to work and a great place to receive care, for people of all backgrounds and identities, and our purpose at the RMH to advance health for everyone, every day.
