The Community Advisory Committee gives advice to the Royal Melbourne Hospital to help shape and enhance the care provided to patients, consumers, carers and support people.
The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is a committee that advises the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) to ensure that consumer, carer and community views are factored into all levels of the design and delivery health services.
Members of the CAC help to improve the way we partner with our patients, consumers, carers and the community in our planning, service delivery and improvement.
The CAC is a strong and passionate voice for promoting partnership with the people we are here to serve.
The CAC is chaired by a member of the RMH Board and has 12 positions for community members. Members are patients, consumers, carers and community representatives who may be current or future users of the health service.
Providing a voice for the RMH community, consumers and carers.
