Grief and loss are part of life. It's important to realise that grieving is a normal process and that you may need some help while going through this period.
It’s normal to feel grief over a range of life experiences, including the loss of a family member, friend or pet, losing your job or the end of a relationship.
It can be helpful to talk to someone about these feelings. Your GP is a good place to start, particularly if your feelings are preventing you from doing normal everyday activities. You might also consider talking to a grief counsellor.
