Your journey to the RMH
Our international recruitment process is designed to guide you every step of the way.
While requirements may vary depending on your profession and visa pathway, the process generally includes:
1. Apply for a role

2. Interview and assessment

3. Registration and professional requirements
If your profession requires registration, you’ll need to register with the relevant Australian regulatory authority before you start employment.
4. Visa and work rights
Successful applicants must hold a valid visa with work rights in Australia, if visa sponsorship is available for the role, our international recruitment team will guide you through the process and provide information about the documents you need.
5. Pre-employment checks
Before starting with the RMH, you’ll complete a range of pre-employment requirements. They may include:
- International Criminal History Check (where required)
- National Police Check
- Immunisation and vaccination evidence
- Working With Children Check
- National Disability Insurance Scheme check (where required)
- Professional registration verification
- Evidence of work rights

6. Relocation and onboarding
