About our ICU programs
Basic Assessment and Support in Intensive Care (BASIC)
BASIC is a two-day interactive program designed to assist junior ICU doctors with little ICU experience, or senior trainees in medicine, surgery or emergency medicine.
Beyond BASIC Airway Management
This one-day course provides a structured and practical approach to upper airway management, designed for Intensive Care, Emergency, and Anaesthetics trainees (or a refresher for consultants).
Beyond BASIC Mechanical Ventilation
This 2-day course is designed to equip critical care clinicians with the essential skills needed to manage mechanically ventilated critically ill patients with various pathologies.
Effective Management of Intensive Care Crises (EMICC)
EMICC is a series of interprofessional courses designed specifically to meet the needs of Critical Care teams.
Melbourne Clinical Exam Course (MCEC)
The course is aimed at trainees sitting the College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM) fellowship clinical examination.
Resuscitation and Acute Catheter Lab Emergencies (REACT)
REACT aims to improve the knowledge, skills and teamwork required to resuscitate patients in the Cardiology Catheter Lab and recovery area.
