The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) may offer temporary or permanent visas depending on an employee’s experience, qualifications and registration. Below outlines visa options in further detail.

Depending on the visa you are eligible for and seeking you will be required to complete the following documentation: 

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) (This process will take approximately 3 months to complete)
  • Skills Assessment from the relevant body at time of application
  • A minimum of 2 or 3 years’ post-qualification experience in the occupation at full-time equivalent hours
