If you're coming into hospital for a procedure or an overnight stay (or longer), don't forget to bring your dentures, glasses, hearing or walking aids.

Dentures & hearing aids

Dentures and hearing aids can be easily lost if wrapped in a tissue and left on top of your bedside locker or in your pocket. If you don't have your own containers, ask staff to put them in a clearly labelled container for you.

Glasses

Your glasses can usually be left on your bedside locker, along with your phone, book or other personal belongings.

Walking aids

Your family, carers or staff can place your walking aid in a safe place while you are in bed and don't need to use it. Staff can label your walking aid for you.
